Question about Manton pushrods

Hey I have read up on manton pushrods, and they seem to be nice, and not much more than any other good set. I figured at this point with all of the money I have invested in the build, why not spend a little more right?

Anyways on a serious note, I have trickflow hardened guideplates on my heads at the moment. I wanted to possibly get a thicker pushrod, but the only other guideplates that I can see that would work are the isky adjustables.

I dont have access to a welding machine to set up adjustable guideplates at the moment.

So with all that said and done I am sure I will be fine with 5/16ths rods.
On mantons pricing page, I had a question from those that have used them. I am thinking the series 4 # 401 is the right rod? Also what is the difference between Jobber and Racing?

I have a set of 7/16 Manton's in my motor, very nice set of pushrods.

Call Manton, Terry was very helpful getting me the right set with the correct wall thickness for my application.

Racer is racer price, Jobber is wholesale / business price.

Call, they are very helpful. There should be the only place anyone needs to go for pushrods. Goood product, great service and advice, fair price. Don't worry about the 5/16" diameter. I use a 3/8" on my BB bracket motor, whihc is 250# seat and 700# open with no problem.

The Isky adjustables can be held in place by stud torque, BUT you have to keep and eye on them while torque and redo it if they move.

Using Manton 3/8" pushrods on my highly modified L98. Price was good to boot.
