Question about Jethot Lts with emissions
I'm about to get a used set of Jethot Lts with emission fittings for my 96' and I heard something about the AIR connections not fitting. Anyone know about this and what do I need to get the install to work? Is it some sort of coupling?
Re: Question about Jethot Lts with emissions
I have a set on my car and the air fittings did not match up. The stock air fittings were to small, I called up JetHot and they told me the size of the coupler. I forgot what size it was but you can buy them at Home Depot. Now I have question myself , Does anyone know what size of bolt i need to thread into my EGR pipe fitting on the headers?
Re: Question about Jethot Lts with emissions
7/8 -18 is the size on my AIR fittings on my Jet hots. http://www.dormanproducts.com/ will have them, look under oil pan plugs.
They are not pipe thread or metric. At least on my headers that's true.

Re: Question about Jethot Lts with emissions
The 93, 94 and some 95 use the larger M22 thread (or something that's close enough for M22 to fit - they worked in my stock manifolds, in my JBA headers and in my AS&M headers). Some 95's, and the 96 and 97 cars have the smaller diameter fittings.... 7/8" or M18 seems to be a decent approximation. If your headers have the larger M22 size openings, you would need a "bushing" to allow your smaller fittings to fit in the larger hole.
