Question Question about the coolant cross-over pipe

Has anyone tried or see anything wrong with using a pair of Aeroquip 90° AN fittings and a braided hose for the coolant cross-over pipe at the back of the LT1 heads?. Would there be enough room between the head and the firewall for one of these? Or is it even worth it?

Or do I have to use the steel line with the banjo bolts. I'm not sure wether the threads in the heads are standard or metric.

yea, I dont see any good reasons to replace it with anything other than teh stock pieces. if you really want, you can cut it in half and use a rubber hose to connect the 2 heads, so you dont' have to unbolt it.

The parts book lists the bolts as ".25-18 NPSF Special".
