pushrods?

pushrods?

will this size pushrod work for a 97 lt1? the heads aren't milled or nothing like that..just 306 cam,roller rockers,etc. 7.218??? thanks

Stock size "should" work with the 306, but you really should get a checker and test it.

Had a setup with a 306 and the guildplates did not wear with stock pushrods. Switched to an 847 and they started wearing, go figure.

Most probably they'll be good. Check the valve tip contact pattern to confirm.

yeah i was just curious..cause the 7.2 work, but my friend had some hardened pushrods that are that size and he said if they fit that i could have them..so i'll just get ahold of some and measure and what not. thanks

They "should" work, but it is always a good idea to check them. The length checker tools are not expensive at all.
