Have my motor down thinking of going with a 383 stroker assy, crank rods and pistons? What all must be done to the block to install this setup? Thanks

Remove all expansion plugs and galley plugs. Hot tank/degrease block and clean out the water passages and oil passages. Ultrasonic check the cylinder wall thickness. Magnaflux for cracks. Check deck for squareness and finish. 4-bolt main conversion for "power adder" application - optional. Bore/hone cylinders to 4.030" using a torque plate. Clearance oil pan rails and bottom of the cyinder bores for the crank counterweights and rods. Align bore the mains.
