I got this code from a friend who scanned my car for me, he doesnt remember the number, but thats what the code was. When i put the new motor in i had this code since it first started. My question is, is there anything under the hood that i could have forgot to plug in to cause this, or do you guys know what needs to be done to fix it. Im going to get a base tune today for the 383, so ill ask the guy if he can give me the code number. Thanks in advance cz28.

 

Probably the code for an electrical fault in the EEC canister purge solenoid circuit. Its possible you forgot to plug it in (on the bracket on the passenger side of the intake manifold), the solenoid is faulty or the wiring is faulty.
