do i have to take the manifold off? how do you hook the cherry picker up to the block? do you have to take the ac radiator looking thing out?

Exhaust manifolds must be removed. They're best removed after the motor mounts, tranny, etc. are loose and the motor's on the cherry picker.

Buy a 'Happy Hooker' from TPIS (yes, that's the technical name); it will attatch the cherry picker to your intake manifold via the four surprisingly strong injector rail bolts.

I've removed the motor both with the compressor/radiator/ac condensor in and out; it's muuuch easier to remove with the radiator/compressor/radiator out, but then you have to charge the system.
