Pulley Question

Has anyone ever noticed any extra vibration from a set of march pulleys? My car has been shaking like it has a cam in it. I changed the plugs and wires at the same time I installed the pulleys, so surely it isn't a plug fouling out already. My rpm's aren't jumping just the car feels like it has a lope.

Any help would be nice.

Thanks,

Re: Pulley Question

The pulleys are neutral balanced so they shouldn't cause a vibration. More likely you don't have a plug wire fully seated and you have arcing to the head/block. Inspect for arcing (sparking) around the park plug wires in the dark with the engine running.

Re: Pulley Question

Is the crank pulley a "sandwich" type? Did you reinstall the damper?

Re: Pulley Question

It is a sandwich pulley. The triangle that is on the original was pointing in the same direction for installation and removal.

I didn't think about the wire arcing. I will check that out.

Thank you both for the ideas, anymore feedback would be great.
