Problem
Problem, car now has big miss
I just got my car back together after fixing a spun bearing. I had the crank reground as well as the connecting rods and all new bearings went in. In the mean time I decided to try a bigger cam, but nothing overally huge. I think it was 236/242 with about .570 - .590 lift (don't have the information next to me). Once we got the car back together I now have this major miss, it gets really bad above 5K. The car has a delteq conversion but the opti worked fine prior to the conversion. No codes have been thrown. So far we have checked the fuel injectors, plug wires, coils and have done a leak down test which all came out okay. I'm starting to think it is the Delteq but someone suggested it could be the OBDII computer, recommending that I put in an OBDI. I would be surprised if it was the computer since I know people on this board who make 400+rwhp and have no problems. The miss didn't exist before the spun bearing, it ran like a champ minus a little knock
. I'm running out of ideas, I have debated getting a new coil and hooking the opti back up just to check if it is the Delteq. Is there something else I should be looking for?

Re: Problem
I looked at the one before, but it didn't seem the same. My car will continue to run but it does make me wonder if it is the wiring for the delteq. I think the easiest might be to hook the opti back up and see if the problem goes away. It seemed like other people didn't have any problem with the delteq and a good size cam. I'm still open to any other suggestions. Thanks..
