ECU tune question

I currently have the hypercrap power programmer. I've read everywhere that this thing is garbage and I believe it cause the only difference I noticed with the hypertech was the cooling fans came on earlier. I'm thinking about selling the programmer and getting a tune from madz28. Is this a good move? What type of gains will I see? I only have a CAI and edelbrock cat-back at the time. My main question is will I notice the gains from it?

Re: ECU tune question

I got a tune from him when i was closer to stock, and i could feel a difference. Definatly tossed me back into my seat a bit more. But yeah, if your planning on doing something like gears or something wait on the tune and do it after.

Re: ECU tune question

Not a huge improvement on a basically stock car. I'd say save the money.
