Just clean EVERYTHING out of the pan after grinding so it doesn't end up in your bearings. This is the most important part.

Oh yeah, I already cleaned it...you could eat off the inside of the pan. :P I'm real **** about stuff like that.

i had chad at golen engine tell me that the pan had to be clearanced before assembly ! so i had him do it so when i picked up my engine it was all sealed up !

Always a good idea. I don't let motors out of the shop without heads and a oil pan myself!
