power steering pulley removal

I am tring to remove my assesory bracket but the power steering pulley is in the way. How do you remove it, I've already removed the rubber hose that connects to it and all bolts are out.

I think I just wound up pulling like hell. It's been so long I can't remember. I do remember it being a major PITA though.

if you MUST remove the pully to replace the pump you can head to auto zone and rent or buy a power sterring pump pully remover kit.

The pump itself is what I am actually tring to remove. Taking the pulley of will not help me to remove the bracket.

The pump? Its easy to remove. Remove the alternator. Grab a ratchet, I think the two bolts are 10mm or 9mm. Just gotta move the pulley to get a window to them. Thier is one on the top middle and bottom middle, get those two long bolts off and it pops right off.

Those two bolts are already off. The problem is the two iron pipes connected to the pump (one on top and one on the bottom). They wrap around the bracket preventing it from being pulled. Can anyone tell me how to remove either of those pipes.

You mean the inlet and outlet pipes? I never a had a problem wiggling it out....The high pressure line (skinny pipe) should have a fitting on it you need to take off with a box wrench, the low pressure line should just come off and just wiggle the pump out of there. I had no problems when removing mine.

Just want to say thanks for helping me out.
I was afraid to force the lines off, didn't know if I needed a special tool or not. I will just try to wiggle it then.

Thanks agian.
