what is the best setup for true duals, I dont want it super loud, just have some deep rumble, but also free flowing. I have a 383 stroker on the bottle with all the bolt ons, 517 rwhp. What setup will work best for me, mufflers, x pipe, and what size, 2.5 or 3?

kmook what setup are you running?

 

Both setups that I have run have been all 3" with dynomax bullets. Not quiet by any means... especially if your going to put a big cam in too.

 

is there anything special that any of you had to do to get them to work without harming anything under the car?
moving brakelines or anything like that?
how are your hangers attached at the rear, seat bolt holes?

kmook is that a universal x pipe you are using or what kind? also how loud is loud, unbearable? my cam is 242in, 248ex at 50

-Hangers are welded to the rear seat belt bolts.

 

It is a Dr. Gas universal 3" x-pipe.
It will be very loud... just depends on what your taste and tolerablity is...

 

any other mufflers that will tone it down?
