post cam and heads install

post cam and heads install

today while driving home at a red light car just died it has done this twice,30 seconds later starts right up,i just got done with heads cam install.prior to the install it would do this so my mechanic said change the ignition control module so i did with the heads cam install what could this be no codes or anything

Too many things, need some more specifics, you could replace everything and it will still do it, be more specific how and when it happens.

just checked under the hood i have aftermarket pulleys and the belt is really shredded around the edges it is a brand new belt,could this cause my car stalling?

The belt wouldn't have much to do with it stalling. Sounds bad though... Did you check for the rear intake manifold leak. If you are decelerating, an intake leak could very likely stall your engine.


If it was an ignition issue, you would also notice an abnormality at idle or acceleration... not just deceleration.
