my stroker is ready to fire up i got the car to turn over after having some wiring issues . now my problem is i dont have spark . i have a msd digital 6+ and a nology coil everything worked fine before the transplant except i have a differant opti and i can not get fire form the coil i read in the huge gm manuel that the computer gets a signal from the opti when turned over and then sends one to the coil if im reading right. if im wrong then i need to test the coil first which im not getting fire from. so the engine cranks but no fire from the coil. msd light is on like it should be and there are 2 wires from the box to the coil that when i crank it over the test light does not light up . so im stuck any input would help and thanks again ..

 

Scan it. Failure of either the high resolution or low resolution Opti pulse signal will set a code.

Might also want to add some basic info, like the year of the car, etc. Not all LT1's are identical.
