possible cause for low idle?

possible cause for low idle?

after installing my longtubes, plugs, wires, lt4km, pcmforless tune, and removed egr/air.............no my car is idling at about 600rpm...............i seem to remember it being like 700-900 before.............is this normal?

if not, what might it be?

You may have a vacume leak...check all your tubes and stuff, make sure it all pluged in

wouldnt a vaccume leak make the idle go up?

Well when i think about it yes, but for some reason no, it doesn't work that way.

Go out to your car, or any car for that matter, and pull the brake vacume tube from the power brake booster, your car will almost die. When i do this it drops to about 500 rpms

600-700 rpms like your talking about may be one of the smaller vacume lines

just a thought, since you didn't mess with anything really, but in a header install this can happen

also, how did you plug the EGR stuff? if its not sealed up perfect, it will do the same

My money says you have a header leak before the o2 sensor. I had one after my install and had the same symptoms. When I fixed the leak I fixed my idle problems.
