Question ported heads

If I was to buy ported heads what would they need to have to put them on my car and run good? Also the same question with a cam. Thanks.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking. But heads and a cam kind of go together. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me to do one without the other, if that's what you mean?

I mean when I get heads what is everything they need to have on them for them to work? If nothing then what do you think I should do for it to run well. Same quesion with cam.

Well if you are buying bare heads then they need to have the valves, springs ret locks etc. before you can use them.
Performance wise if you buy ported ones they usually will run pretty good, especially if you buy a cam that matches the heads.
You could also go with some 1.6 rocker arms (NSA) 7/16th studs and guidplates.
Still not exactly sure this is the answer you were looking for but its a start
