Popping when rev engine

Popping when rev engine

Question I have open headers and when i rev it fast I get a poppin noise. Did I possibly burn out a valve? Or is this just cause I have open headers?

mine backfires a little if I rev it up and down real fast, but I think the solution is to not do that....
