97 WS6 dyno predicitions

ok guys this is what i ran before with these mods;
moroso CAI
LT4 KM
airfoil
TB bypass
cutout....it went 275hp/314tq

new mods:
hooker long tubes
mufflex y-pipe
borla cat back
ported mass air ends
MSD 6a box
Taylor wires
MSD blaster coil
Meziere Electric water pump
Crane 1.6 rr's
NGK plugs TR55's
Arizone speed and marine 54 mm TB

what do you think it will pull?, i'm hoping for 330hp/340tq at least

my buddy just put down 330hp and 336tq with my mods and a hotcam(stock heads)...so maybe i'm being a bit optimistic......his car only put down 255 stock tho..mine went 275 basically stock

305/325. You're not going to make 330 w/o a cam.

The longtubes are generally worth about 25hp, My FLPs were worth 28hp 28tq. Only other real power mods you have is the water pump which frees up about 7 hp and the rockers which are worth 10-15 if you swaped springs too. But you can't just add mods up like that...I know it works in Chevy High Performance but that kind of addition never works out on the dyno. I have a friend who had almost exactly the same setup that put down 301hp.

Yeah I put down 296.8 HP and 333.6 TQ with Hooker LTs, Mufflex 3 inch y-pipe (no cats), GMMG exhaust, SLP CAI, and Granatelli MAF. I don't have numbers from when I was stock. I'm real happy with what it made for just full exhaust and CAI/MAF.

Those are nice #'s..Well into ls1 range. All while sounding a billion times better.

Thanks . Can't beat the sound of the LT1 especially through my exhaust system . Now its time to throw a cam in her and see what she can do
