plugs/wires

hey guys, ive got a 95 formula, with 67000 miles on it, and its bone stock, some days it just doesnt feel like it is running as prime as it should be. But other days, it feels like its got all sorts of power. I never drive it in the rain, so its only dry when i drive it. Should I put a new set of plugs and wires on it, and see if that makes a difference. ive got all the paperwork on the car, and it appears to have the original plugs and wires... What do you guys suggest? also, whats teh easiest way to change them, i know its a pain on 4th gens

Re: plugs/wires

i think plugs would be a good idea to change now.your wires should be ok unless they are brittle.you might as well change your fuel filter, replace pcv valve, plugs, and if you have a auto trans change the filter and fluid.as far as changing plugs, have fun the driver side is simple.the passenger side is a S.O.B. i always have trouble with the plug closest to the front of the car.for me i had to unhook the motor mount on the passenger side lift it as high as i could and feel around like a blind man.i dont do this any more now i just take off the wheel on the passenger side, god bless the hole saw i made a nice little cut and now all i do is slide the socket and extension in and its just as fast as the other side.good luck.
