plug access with hooker LT's

I' going to be installing Hooker LT's. I'm also installing MSD 8.5 plug wires. Any suggestion on steps to do this? Helpfull hints?

Will I have Good access to change plugs if I have to?

One more qusetion with the LT's I want to run them with no cats or muffler just one 3 inch pipe out the back. Will this Lower preformance?

Plug access is excellent. Those wires might be a little difficult to run through the stock locations.I recommend getting Taylor over the valve cover wires.Without a muffler it will be loud but i guess if you dont like it you can always put one on.When doing the install, get the car as high as you can, spray all the bolts with PB blaster, and let them soak overnight.Spray em again in the mornig.Remove the batt, starter, alternater, dipstick,y pipe, manifolds and spark plugs.Have fun with your new set up.

As stated above the plug access is great. I am currently running the MSD wires though there stock location with no problems. If you route the wires properly there is no need to buy over the valve cover wires.

Compared to my macs, the acces is not as good. I did them on a buddys car, but is was not that bad. I dont think I could get a rachet on any of them, I jsut used a 3/4 in wrench. If i remember correctely cylinders 6 and 8 I had to get from the bottom, but not that big of a deal.

With the 100+ dollars you spend on stock replacement MSD.. go with the Universal MSD's, Taylor Opti Ends, and some Made for You looms... I couldnt keep a set from burning with out that setup... Plus it makes the engine bay look 10x better.. I think Thunder Racing this as a package, but with Taylor Wires.. *What I have.. I love them*

I have the taylor custom fits, over the valve covers, and love them. I went threw 2 sets trying to route them in the stock locations, but over the valve covers jsut makes everything easier. The thing that makes doing the wires that makes it a sinch, is one of my buddys that owns a shop has the taylor crimper. God that just makse everything a snap.
