Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft = 11 RWHP?

I'm looking to get 11 RWHP and am wondering if this would do it?

Other possibilties are 1.6 rr and/or pcmforless programming.
thanks

I thought WS6. com did a dyno of a alumnium one and it made 1 rwhp diff. So i don't think that is going to make it. The Roller rockers would get you real close and the tune should seal the deal.

If followed by carbon fiber under pants............I'd do the 1.6 rockers.

According to TPIS's dyno data of a carbon fibre drive shaft they got 5rwhp and 3rwtq at 3000rpm. But for 800$ you're better off buying the 1.6 rockers, springs and tuning from PCMforless, and you'll still have enough money left over to buy an aluminum driveshaft if you are really aching for a lighter driveshaft.

11rwhp? There any particular reason you have such an exact and miniscule number in mind? I guess you could go with a 11 shot. Watch out if you get a TNT kit though, they're underrated so you might get 12.5rwhp out of a 11 shot.

Seriously, I'd say go for the 1.6RRs. The carbon fiber DS would lighten the rotating mass, but I'm not sure of the exact difference in weight and if you will see that kind of gain from it. Also, the RRs will be much better as far as bang for the buck.

I have to agree with getting the RRs and programming along with an aluminum shaft.More bang for the buck as they say.

Take that money and have your car dyno tuned, you can easily pick up 10-15rwhp. I wouldn't really order pcmforless on a stock car.

I emailed PCMforless.com and they said they could get me 14-16 RWHP on my setup before the rocker arms and then upgrade for free if I get the rocker arms within 6 months.
You guys think it would be possible to gain that much with proper tuning?

Piece of cake to get 15rwhp from a program.

I buddy has a LT1 with CAI, and a cutout, and a tune. NOTHING ELSE.

M6 car, running Drag radials, his best time is 13.05 at 106.5 . The thing that got him there is LT1 edit. I bet his program has 50 flashes on it.

It has been done, I've heard of a solid 15 HP on a stock car, however this is with a dyno tune and this is only within a fairly narrow power band that you gain this new power. This is not new WOT power everywhere in the band.

If you have that kind of cash to drop, why not get Tunercat and do it yourself? Still however, without a dyno and wideband you have to be somewhat conservative, but at least forever more you dont have to go to someone else for help on dumping DTCs or tuning the car.
