There isn't a difference between one for a 6 spd manual tranny and an automatic tranny is there?

 

Yes. The engines are set to a different idle speed depending on the transmission. Thus, the EGR valve for the A/T and M/T have different sizes to flow different rates of air depending on what the idle speed is set to. If I recall correctly, the M/T EGR valve flows better.

 

Well, it's to late now, the Egr Valve is now in the car. I couldn't tell the difference in the car's performance, but it did fail emissions again this morning. It read 2.17 for the Nox reading compared to 2.10 with the old valve. The other readings were better though, 4.04 CO's to the 9.44, last reading and .37 HC's, compared to .51. Either way, it's going to the shop again. I'm done trying to diagnose the issue, working on the car.

 

The EGR valve doesn't even operate at idle.
