Question Plastic valve covers need modding for pro mags?

Hi guys. I know that the stock steel valve covers need to be modded for the pro mag rockers, but what about the corvette composite/plastic valve covers? Do the pro mags fit with no problem, or is some grinding neccesary? Thanks in advance.

are you talking about the LT4 composite valve covers? those shouldn't need mods as they were designed to clear the 1.6 RR's anyway.

Yes, but their designed to clear narrow body roller rockers like the gm or Cranes. I'm going to be using 1.6 pro magnum rollers with a 7/16 stud. I'm wondering if there's going to rub or hit anywhere.

No modding required.

The pro magnum rockers have interferance issues with the supports on stock valve covers. The composite covers don't have these support, I'm running them with 1.6 pro mags and 7/16" studs.

yeah, they'll run fine. in fact I read a few times here people are running the Scorpion 1.7 RR's and use those valve covers because they cut down on noise and don't need to be modded.

I'm running CompCams ProMags 1.6's with the stock covers ('96 Vette). No problems.

Are you talking about the bone stock LT1 plastic covers from the 93-96 Corvettes?

Bone-stock '96 covers. I think the '93-'95 need some drip tabs clipped to clear.
