Got a friend claiming his 318i BMW can burn my z but I am not sure. Wouldn't mind hearing some opinions

Only mod I have been able to afford is a flow master 3" exhaust.

His is completley stock

Both are 96 year.

 

That 4 cylinder BMW has a little over 100 bhp, you'll beat him even with 2 spark plug wires removed.

 

I had a run with my friends 318i. You should have seen the look on his face after I let him have a carlength off the line while I was squeeling into second beside him

I think my favorite thing about my camaro is how fast it is stock, nice if you are on a limited income as myself :P

Apparently his BMW doesn't have a cd player...

I find it funny that my chevy, same year, has a Cd Player, and his BMW has radio/tape only O.o

Are you sure you're buddy wasn't joking? 318 faster than LT1...either your buddy knows nothing about cars, or he's foolin' with you. The Edmunds website has the 318 rated 0-60 at 9.9 sec. That's diesel station wagon slow. At least if he had the 328..that goes 0-6 in a blazing 7.3 sec.

I mean, if he said he had an M3 or 740...but no way in heck that a stock 3-series BMW is going to beat a stock LT1.

 

Just play along that he is faster then you, put some money on it, and spank him.
