Which piston rings?

I am about to start building my motor for the summer. I will be running nitrous on it. Just trying to figure out which would be the best rings. Motor will be a standard bore. I am also looking to maybe do some forged pistons. Does anyone sell a complete forged piston/ring set for a standard bore LT1? I am wanting to stay around stock compression ratio. Also, I am considering forged Scat I-beam rods, do I need the 5.700" ones?

Heres a link to the rods.

i think most of the time you buy pistons they come with rings? if you get 6 inch rods you need pistons for 6 inch rods and vice versa with 5.7 inch
the 6 inch reduce the rotating mass because rods are lighter than pictons...
if your building it, id be bumping compresion from all that ive heard on here is that more compression the better, you can get away with 93 pump gas at 12:1, it going to help with low end torque and power, lloyd reccomends a little over 12:1 when i was talking about building my motor...

The Hellfire rings are great for nitrous. If you are rebuilding for N2O, be sure to pick a piston designed for that use. Stay away from "lightweight" pistons. There are so many good SBC psitons out there, it's hard to know where to start. JE/SRP, Diamond, and Probe are brands I am familiar with and have used sucessfully. Bret Bauer really likes Mahle. There are many others.

Were they for a standard bore 350? I am thinking about running 11:1 compression on a set of forged i-beam scat rods, forged pistons(unsure of brand) and stock crank. Wanting to do a 150 shot, think it will hold?

Don't know what pistons would be a good cheap piece for a shot of nitrous, but if I have to rebuild in the future, I'm going your route. Stock crank studded (ARP), aftermarket rods with ARP bolts, and spend some decent money on the pistons. Just in case there is a one small hic-cup as the set-up is being dialed in, I don't want the nitrous to take out the pistons.
