performance
Re: performance
What kind of headers? What size exhaust? More details would be better honestly. Are they shorties mid length or long tubes? Do you have an after market y-pipe? What do you plan too do in the future to the car? All of these things makes a difference as to what you should do but a cold air intake is definitely next on the list.
Re: performance
Best thing to do would be to start a new thread of your own, so that it doesn't confuse the responses to "Timmae".
There's a lot of help here, and the more info you provide about any current modifications to your car, mileage, etc. the easier it would be to help you.
LT4 heads? No. You can make close to 500HP at the flywheel with ported stock heads and the right cam. Probably a good idea to read through some threads, see what others with fast cars have done, and then start asking questions in a new thread.
Re: performance
If your '94 has original suspension components, buy the polyurethane bushing kit to replace most of the rubber pieces. They are all junk by now. New shocks would be good too. It will handle better than new. Find some used wheels from a Z06 and put on there. Fatter, stickier tires makes the curves more fun.
No point in making more power if you can't control it.

Re: performance
I agree, I would do suspension upgrades, sub frame connectors, wheels/tires before any horsepower mods. I would also consider a front brake upgrade, I am looking into doing either LS1 brakes or Corvette stuff myself.
Re: performance
Definitely a must, and not at all expensive.
Re: performance
I think this is getting a little sidetracked. Yes, its important to upgrade all components to match increases in engine power. But EXACTLY what needs to be done is subject to how you use the vehicle. The upgrades for a road car will be different from those for a 1/4-mile car.
As an example, the stock brakes are decent. Yes, you can upgrade them. But my stock brakes (still has the original front pads) will pull the car down from 130 MPH traps speeds with no problems at all. If you want to get down to basics, I'd change every fluid in the car, including the brake fluid. I doubt it's been changed since the car was new. I actually had the parts for a Baer front brake upgrade, but decided to sell them, because they would have made it impossible to fit 15" Pro-Stars with skinnies in the front.
