Pcm not showing a ses light after tune

I had a problem with my car ac and it showed a ses light had it fixed no problem but after i installed my longtube headers and had a tune for it my computer wont read a ses light i called pcm4less and told them what was wrong and they said that there is no way to delete the ses light . I unplug my mass air sensor and it still didnt show a ses. Has this happen to anyone else. My car is boging on me and it wont show any codes what do you guys think.

Maybe the bulb burnt out?

Are you scanning the PCM to determine?

check the bulb and then scan the computer anyway, if its not tripping codes then you need a tuneup or you have a vacuum leak somewhere and depending on where and how bad that might not trip a code.

What year is your car? Are you possibly trying to flash the codes on the SES light by shorting the ALDL pins?

Don't know a thing about PCM4less but, it's not uncommon for programmers to change over to speed/density mode. If that were the case, the MAF would be ignored. Thus the lack of a SES set when it's unplugged. Your SES is obviously functioning properly since it comes on during the pre start diagnostic.

Second, a code set and the SES light are 2 different things. There are a few codes that will NOT set a SES. All codes will be stored in memory for a period of time even though they are NOT active. Therefore, a scanner of some type should be in your future.

Third, due to the limitations of OBDI, many things that effect the running of the engine can NOT be monitored. Fuel delivery, spark quality or even its timing etc.....

If you have a desire to see the SES come on, pick another device to unplug. However, realize it should be reset before going on to what you should be doing in the first place and that is trying to discover why you have a lack of power.

With regard to the lack of power, did it ever run correctly in the first place. That is, did it ever run without this lack of power after having done the headers?
