Pcm?

Last weekend I got DTC- 48, which was a MAF code after I ran into some minor puddles and died at a stop sign. It started up hesitantly after five minutes of trying. (I have the SS hood with air box) I thought maybe the air filter got wet and it sucked up a mist of water on the MAF.
This morning while it was still raining, I started the car and drove 1/4 mile to a store and left it idling when I came back out it was dead, I tried starting it and it was just cranking but no start. This time I got DTC - 51, which is EEPROM Programming Error.
I checked the computer and I didn't see it wet, connections are good so I disconnected the battery and let it sit for few hours. Now the car starts fine and the code is gone. I got a long trip this weekend so I ordered a new PCM from the dealer.
Could it be anything else? It seems like it only did it when it was raining or is it a coinscience?
I did get codes before I replaced my opti 6 months ago, I used to get DTC- 51,16,41,42.

Drive it and/or let it idle as much as you can. Could be something, could be nothing.

The new PCM didn't come today because of the snow , the car seems to start and drive fine, but can I trust it on a long trip? I hope I get it tomorrow.
