overheating problem

I have a 1996 cmaro lt1 and i have been having overheating problems with my car. I have changed the radiator, water pump, cap, thermostat, i bled out the air,and i checked the fans. When i look in the radiator it does not look like the water is circulating. It over heats very quickly and i have no heat. There is nothing leaking inside the car. I also do not smell antifreeze in the car. I am so frustrated i just want my car back. Help please

Have you flushed the entire system?? It may be clogged up somewhere.

doubt it but you never know, the new water pump might not be circulating anything

What is it with overheating camaro's? Mine gets rather hot also. There is some kind of valve off the water pump that was leaking on mine. I thought I fixed the overheating problem by fixing that leak but nope still gets hot in town. If I where you man I would put a pressure tester on your car to see if you have any leaks first. Then you can feel the heater hoses if its plugged one will be hot and the other will be cold. Big difference. Hope this helps.

agreed, mine gets hot at idle after about 5 min or so, even with new coolant, new 160thermo, new waterpump and radiator. my old 3800 series did the same thing as well as my buddies 02 ss
