Re: overheating problem

Have you removed or replaced anything recently? Anything that may seem like it makes no difference may be the reason.

Re: overheating problem

make sure your fans are turning on. check up under your car infront of the radiator and clear out any debris if its there. if your fans are turning on, try holding your motor at some RPMs... maybe you have a coolant passage block somewhere and at idle your waterpump isnt flowing enough.

Re: overheating problem

could also be you have air in the coolant hoses. When is the last time you had a flush and fill? Are you running a 160 thermostat?

also, id look into getting some Red Line Oil "Water Wetter" that stuff really helps, I know from experience with it in my car as well as my computer's watercooling setup.

Re: overheating problem

first thought would be the mentioned malfunctioning fans, second would be a clogged radiator, third would be bad wp.

i've you have done anything coolant related recently...the air in the system would probably top that list instead.

Re: overheating problem

Are you getting any SES codes? Check all your fuses. Most of the time overheating is a fuse or ECT problem.
