overhaul question
#2
Well I did a stock overhaul when I was in high school and it ran about 4 or 5 k after all the machining, gaskets, crank, pistons, rings, bearings ect. Not to mention the water pump, opti and all the sensors on motor, and thats if you do all the work yourself. In my mind its not worth it, just buy either a used low mileage motor or get a short or long block from a good dealer like victory racing or something that has a warrenty.
