I just replaced my MSD wires that were arching at the boots with some different MSD wires. These wires have less than 1000 miles on them and they are arching everywhere. I put the summit boot protectors on the boots this time and eliminated that problem on the new wires. Now ther is arching un the middle of wires just above the valve cover or the passenger side and arching under the alternator. One of the wires probably got burnt under the alternator, but is anyone else having as much trouble with this set up as I am? I probably have 4 different spots where there is arching.
