OVC Wires?
OVC Wires?
Hey, would the stock length wires work if I just bought the over the valve cover looms? Or do I have to buy those wires you put together yourself? I'm trying to make sure when I install my headers i don't burn any wires. Any other ideas or opinions are appreciated! Thanks
You'd need a universal set of wires, and need to cut them to proper length. It sounds complicated, but it's VERY easy. Worst part is installing those damn boots over the wires.

I am also considering going with OVC wires. However, I was also thinking about going with Taylor's "409" race wires. So, could I get a universal kit (from Summit) with the 90-deg boots and then the looms and make myself a kit? Or would I be better off just getting the Taylor 8mm OVC Kit from Thunder? Are the 409s any better than the 8mm's?
Any advice is appreciated!

arent the 409s 10mm. i think you would have a tough time keeping the 10mms clear of everything on the passenger side. here are some pics of mine.
