Anything To Be Gained By Putting 3" Catback On A Stock LT1?
Ok good. Now let me ask this. Would low end torque be hurt by getting a 3" c/b and doing the cai kit. I hear that it may or may not and that it may make the SES light to come on because of the lack of backpressure.
Those are myths. You don't loose any torque by installing a cat-back. Infact you gain torque. And your check-engine light won't come on becasue there is no "back-pressure sensor" on your car.
It won't affect emmisions either, just make the car a little louder.

After I put headers on my thirdgen I had an SES light every once in a while. On the current car I haven't had this problem. I think the PCM in these newer ones can compensate a lot better for mods
Mods are in the sig, I haven't tripped an SES light ever(unless my dumbass forgot to plug in a harness!!)

A buddy of mine with the 30th ann Z got his Moroso for $160 from a local auto parts store (McCullough) that specializes in performance parts. He went in, told them Summit sells them for $180 at the time, and they ended up cutting off $20 from Summit's price. He doesn't know anyone there to get a hookup either.
Another buddy owns a 00 GT and went to the same place for cold air for his Stang, and they told him they don't generally sell parts for Ford vehicles

Now anyone know where to get the Moroso CAI cheap on the net?
