Ordered new opti

Ok I ordered a new opti and I was wanting to know what seals I will need for the water pump and opti when I re-install them. Part #'s would be helpful also. Thanks.

Basically just the 2 water pump gaskets. Just go to any parts store and get them.

If just replacing the Opti then you will only need WP gaskets. The o-rings come already installed on the shaft of the opti. If you are going to replace the opti seal in the timing cover you will obviously want to pick that up as well when you get the WP gaskets.

Ok, I bought my opti from thepartsladi. So, the o-ring for the waterpump shaft should be included?

If the opti & water pump drive seals in the timing cover haven't been changed in awhile, I would consider replacing both of them.

I don't think they have ever been changed, but that's not say the previous owner didn't change them. Can I pick them up from a local parts store? I would order them from summit, but they are out of stock there, and I would need them by this weekend.

I got my seals from Jason Cromer, but I ordered a bunch of other stuff at the same time. Wherever you end up getting them, I would get extras in case you damage a seal during installation, which seems to happen quite frequently.

I think that maybe Felpro makes a seal kit, or gasket kit, that includes those seals. It might be available at places like Autozone, or Advance Auto.
