Make sure the rotor screws are tight. Some people loctite them. I have never had a problem with them backing out.

maybe run a small bead of RTV sealant where the two halves of the opti come together. put some type of thread locker on the two rotor screws. i think the blue locktite will work just fine

I got mine at Sears... but I swear I saw some the last time I was in an Autozone and wondered why I drove an extra 15 minutes to get to the nearest Sears

Try Sears. My kit came with a shallow socket, but you'll need a longer one.

Go down to your local hardware store and buy a 1 inch screw with a T15 torx head. Put the screw in small vice grips or pliers and you have an opti tool. Buy 2 screws as they are cheap. I had to grind down the head a little to get it to fit into the recess in the opti. Some people weld them onto an old screwdriver for a more permanent tool.

The stock screws that hold the TB plate on will work as a tool for the opti, but you will probabay wreck the threads. I brazed one of them into an old small socket to make a tool. Normal torx socket will not reach far enough into the hole.

If you have time to wait, Amazon carries a fairly cheap one.

If you're in a hurry - SnapOn or Sears, and bring lube...

Hard to say without knowing what model & year of car or brand of opti.

If you go the Sears route etc and cannot find a long reach socket, you could probably also grind a normal length 1/4 socket down to make it thin enough to reach into the hole.
