What rear main seal, teflon or rubber?

Im gonna be changing out my clutch this weekend along with the rear main seal. The question I have is, what one should I use? They had a teflon one and a rubber one. I bought both of them, and will return the one I dont use, I just wanted to know if one is peferred over the other. Thanks!

I ran into the same thing. I went with teflon, because it seemed like it would outlive the rubber.

Thanks for your input, I'll probably go with the teflon one as well.

I was told it doesn't matter. I went with teflon.

Doesn't matter. I changed my clutch at 85xxx miles and replaced the seal as well. The original stock seal was in just as good shape as the brand new one I got. Assuming that was rubber, it lasts a long time.
