Re: Opti direct ignition, YOU"VE GOT TO HAVE ONE OF THESE!

yes it sounds like you need one of the delteq's

Even though i like selling the opti direct systems ... and before you spend your money make sure it's the opti that’s giving you the problem ... because there are other things that can cause the car to run bad but it you have narrowed it down to a opti as the culprit then my system would be the perfect upgrade to get rid of your opti problems and high speed miss etc

Send me a pm if interested with your phone numbers or you can call to order

thx Jim.

Will you explain why you think your product is better than the other "product" that is out there?

RE & Cheryl,

How was routing the plug wires with your mounting location?

I would like to get one of these but I don't want to mount it on top of the valve cover.
Did you get the wires to cut yourself?

Also, is it possible to not put the opti on at all or is that the stage II kit?

I want Stage 2 when does it come out? You have to give us an estimated date before we go for other options...

Re: Opti direct ignition, YOU"VE GOT TO HAVE ONE OF THESE!

I have about 1000 miles on my Delteq so far and I'm loving it. I couldn't find any NGK TR55s at the store I usually buy them from, so I settled for some cheapie AC Delco plugs. No problems at all...no misfires, no nothing. I ran the car on the dyno...the first four pulls were rich as hell (some dropped way below 10:1 AFR) since we were still working out the tuning. No problems there either...the same plugs are in there now, no misfires or anything. All the problems I've ever had with the opti and the stock coil are gone.

If you haven't bought one of these yet, either buy one or start saving for one. This is the best mod I've ever done to my car, hands down.

Re: Opti direct ignition, YOU"VE GOT TO HAVE ONE OF THESE!

I know there is not much info about the Stage 2 but I am considering getting this setup, but I want to know if anyone knows any rumors on this new Stage 2 and what the differences will possibly be? Should I wait unit the stage 2 comes out to get it instead of the stage 1? Let me know what you know.

Thanks,

Dave

We did not use the colored wires because we will show that later with a header install…. These pictures will be updated on my web site with details to go over the install….. I just wanted to get the pictures out to show how easy these units install….
