Opti alignment question
I was dissecting my opti on my 95 z28 and my question is:
Taking the opti apart and having the mark ( the one that aligns with the cam dowel pin) at the rear pointing to the number "1". On my opti, the rotor is pointing about 60 degrees counter(from perfect alignment with the rear # "1") clockwise (looking at the opti face on). Is this the correct position, or should the rotor be aligned with the mark in the "1" postion at the rear???
Please help---This problem is ruining my mechanical reputation.
