Ok the opti got wet from coolant a few weeks ago before I fixed the leak. Then about a week ago all the sudden when I started the car, it was runnign really rough like on 7 cyl, no matter if it was at idle or accelerating. I just checked the wires and all of them were showing good ohm resistence(with digi multimeter)...When I took off 2 of the plugs from the passenger side, sure enough there was still some coolant residue.
can the opti get wet through the spark plug wire inserts? Im guessing yes since this is where mine got wet...just making sure that sounds like the opti before I go replace it

 

If it feels like a loss of power, then yes it could be the opti. Getting the opti wet can't be good no matter what.
