I have a stock 95 trans am and this morning i stopped to get gas and after that i made it about a mile down the road and all of a sudden the car starts running like a bag of **** lol. Exhaust stinks of fuel as well as the oil and smokes a bit. Any ideas?

 

Fouled plugs and old wires are where I would start. The O2's. Any codes?

 

plugs wires water pump and opti were replaced about 8k ago. No engine light on yet.

 

Was it a Mom and Pop store??? Might have water in the tank... Bad gas station tanks sometimes make condensation or bad seals that allows water to seep in.....

That would be my guess, if you just filled up....... Seafoam will help remove water in the tank....

 

well thank you i put some seafoam in and the idle cleared up and seems to run fine. Still smokes a bit but i assume that should clear up after i drive it a bit?
