ok guys got another question
ok i have been chasing a bad idle, and after putting it on a scanner and reading the codes, and checking circuit levels we found out that my tps although new had been broken during the install( before i bought it). i also got a code p0336, but thought it was possibly due to the bad tps causing a miss...
well i was wrong. i changed the tps and now it will idle perfectly fine, but once warm it kind of gets a bit of a slumping idle, and when i am driving for about 10 min or so, it will start to cut out, even killing the car while driving. i let it sit for a few minutes and it starts right back up.. and will run till it feels like dyin'. i put it back on the scanner and is saying bank one sensor one low voltage (i got a new o2 sensor to fix that), but it is still throwing that p0336 code (crank position circuit malfunction). with the symptoms i have described above, would it be safe to say that my opti is going out? the car has a brand new wiring harness on it, so no wires are corroded or anything of that nature ...

thanks... did some searching on here myself, and came up with the opti, or fuel pump as far as symptoms go, but with that code was leaning more to the opti, just wanted to ask and see what people might think.

i just checked that as well... i recently put the new engine harness on it (problem had started before putting this on), and while it was off i looked into that hole to check for any corrosion and didnt notice any bent pins.. one thing i will mention is that the guy who had built this car decided he wants to leave the vacuum lines off of the opti and just plug the side port in the intake, so i am assuming that some moisture or something might have got into it through those holes to cause the possible early exit for the opti
i would assume that the vacuum lines being off wouldnt be a good idea would it ?
