oil temp & A/F gauge install
oil temp & A/F gauge install
how hard are these to install? the a/f seems like it would be pretty straight foward just got to run the wires, but i have no idea how to hook up the oil temp guage. i got them for x mas along with my white face overlays and want to install them.
Re: oil temp & A/F gauge install
The A/F ratio gauge needs the signal from the O2 sensor wire, either pin C8 or C20 on the PCM, depending which side you want to watch. Or run both wires to a SPDT switch and be able to watch both of them. All you get is a psychadelic light show, and not much in the way of useful info though.
Is your oil temp gauge mechanical or electric?

Here's a convenient spot to put the oil temp sender:

There's already a plug there.
