oil temp & A/F gauge install

oil temp & A/F gauge install

how hard are these to install? the a/f seems like it would be pretty straight foward just got to run the wires, but i have no idea how to hook up the oil temp guage. i got them for x mas along with my white face overlays and want to install them.

The A/F ratio gauge needs the signal from the O2 sensor wire, either pin C8 or C20 on the PCM, depending which side you want to watch. Or run both wires to a SPDT switch and be able to watch both of them. All you get is a psychadelic light show, and not much in the way of useful info though.

Is your oil temp gauge mechanical or electric?

the oil temp is electrical. not sure if ill have to tap the pan or not.

no need to tap tha pan, there is a port on top of the oil filter you can use.
