Oil reading still way off.

Im still having oil readings way off on the dipstick. Ive tried reading it quick, lettting it set, etc and it still way over.

Ill probably just start by taking out a .5 quart of so and go from there.

Is there anyway to measure this without draining all the oil.

It maybe a figment of my imagination but the car does seem a little down on power...from the windage... hmmmm

Any way you could have mistakenly put in 6 quarts? Drain the oil into a clean pan, measure it and then pour it back in with a big funnel.
