What angle is the pick-up supposed to be in relation to the pump? I'm going to get it welded on tomorrow. I wish I did it in the first place, it sucks pulling the pan off after only driving the car for a few weeks.

 

Anybody? Is the screen suposed to sit level with the bottom of the pump, or at an angle?

 

The best method that I know of is to take some foam or cardboard and lay it flat in the bottom of the pan. What youre trying to get at is having the pump about 1/4 -3/8's of an inch off of the bottom of the pan. Just mock it up and mark both the pump and the housing to keep it lined up.
