Oil pressure problem...sometimes.

Oil pressure problem...sometimes.
whenever I put my brakes on hard my oil pressure drops, it only started doing this the other day. Yesterday my low oil light came on even tho the dipstick shows that its full. Is it possible these are related? Any ideas on what can cause this? The only thing I can think of, is that the pick-up is to clost to the oil pan, and when braking it brushes the oil away from it. Any ideas would be great.

Could be that the pickup is interfering with the low oil sensor in the pan (if the pickup has come off).
