does the oil light stay on when the car has warmed up and you crank it?

Your going to let someone at Autozone diagnose your car? "it keep goin up and down" is not descriptive enough.

BTW, ever hear of sentences and punctuation?

This may be all too simple, but have you checked the oil level via oil level indicator (aka dipstick)?

only oil light i know if is the "low oil" light, and thats the level in the pan not the psi, far as i know the pressure getting low would set off "check gauges."

if thats the case and you have made sure your oil level isnt low with the dip stick instead of just taking it for granted. then you need to check the sensor in the drivers side of the oil pan and make sure its plugged in good. if it is then you probably need to get a new one installed. i'd wait till your next oil change otherwise you're gonna be doin it anyways when it runs all over you.

there is nothing wrong with your oil pump the guy at az is an idiot.

If you don't care then you are limiting your ability for others to effectively communicate with you in finding out what your problem might be.

...and that is exactly when I stop reading. I'll go on to another thread where something makes sense. Later.

1- check the oil level on the dipstick.
2-check the sensor plugged into the oil pan
3- check the end play in the crank

If you have that little concern (or respect) for the people who have to read your posts, why should anyone bother to try and help you? And no, its extremely difficult for anyone to comprehend what you have written. It seriously reduces your chances of getting help, and limits the number of people who will even try and help.

Your choice. Think about it......
