Re: oiL light

Could be a faulty low oil level sensor on the side of the oil pan,or a broken or loose wire on the plug that goes to the sensor.

Re: oiL light

Are you talking oil pressure warning, or the 'change oil' light?

95's don't have an oil life computer and, thus, no 'change oil' ight. All they have are 'check gauges" and "low oil" lights. I assume he means the "low oil" light as any oil pressure warning would be handled by the 'check gauges' light.

If the oil level is OK when checked with the dip stick, then the sensor is bad. The thing is made from plastic and lives in a tough environment.

Be careful when replacing it. Over-torquing it will break it. Not might, will. Replace the seal while you're in there.....
